Joyce McCullough Ivins, a beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother was reunited with her loving husband, Tony Ivins, on May 1, 2026, at the age of 87. Born on June 11, 1938, in Delta, Utah, Joyce grew up with a deep appreciation for hard work and family. Raised on the family farm, she cherished the time spent working alongside her parents, Erma and Levi McCullough, and her four sisters. On March 12, 1959, she began a lifelong journey of faith and family when she was married to Anthony Harold Ivins in the Manti Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Joyce’s life was an incredible map of experiences. Alongside Tony, she raised her family across the continent and beyond, living in Lund, Nevada; Provo, Utah; Blackfoot, Idaho; Tacoma, Washington; Western Samoa; Vernon, British Columbia, Canada; Klamath Falls and Salem, Oregon. Followed by a four year Church Education Service mission to Colonia Juárez, Mexico. They eventually retired to St. George, Utah. Her later years took her to The Atria in Sandy, Utah and Spring Gardens in Heber City, Utah.

An avid reader and lover of music and nature, Joyce was most at home when she was giving loving service to others. Her grandchildren will forever cherish the memory of her famous banana bread and the "award-winning" turkey rolls that became a legendary post-Thanksgiving tradition.

Joyce was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Anthony; her parents, Erma Sampson and Levi Hamilton McCullough Jr.; and her sisters, LuAna Jensen, Darlene Neilson, and Elsie Thomas. Joyce is survived by her seven children Melanie (Ray) Shatzer, Scott (Shawna) Ivins, Daryl (Rachel) Ivins, Curtis (Aleisha) Ivins, Sheila (Mike) Johnston, Leilani (Dave) Christensen, Coralee (Jared) Bernard. Joyce has 28 grandchildren and 32 great-grand children. Joyce leaves behind a legacy of faith, service, resilience, and a family who will miss her dearly.
