Joseph "Jack" Mahoney

October 27, 1944 — April 30, 2019

Joseph "Jack" Mahoney age 74, resident of Kamas, Utah passed away peacefully at home on April 30, 2019, age 75. Jack is survived by his wife Louise, the love of his life for 38 years, sons Jesse and Dan with first wife Maggy and his grandchildren, Dexter, Eva and Bella. He was a devoted husband, proud father, diligent partner and loyal friend. He was a designer, builder and adventurous explorer who enjoyed pushing boundaries. He was an expert sailor and boatsman with an affinity for water in all its forms. He was a tireless worker who honed their Teru Sushi restaurant to legendary success. He was a canny businessman with an instinct for real estate and development, who made an indelible mark on Park City. He applied Japanese, Victorian and Mediterranean architecture principles into structures he designed and built. He was a handsome, gentle giant with kind brown eyes, a beautiful smile and calm purposeful demeanor. He was a pantheist who revered animals and nature. Jack's supportive nature was a blessing to everyone and he will be much missed.

Friends are welcome to come and share memories of this amazing man, and his fascinating,fulfilled and fruitful life at THE MAHONEY RANCH, 1193 N. State Rd. 32, Kamas, for a CELEBRATION OF LIFE gathering on June 9th from 3:00 to 6:00 PM.
