On Friday, February 3rd, Jon Wayne Henry went to be with Jesus. Following a tragic accident, Jon left us here to celebrate his life and to remember to live ours fully and cherish those around us. Being a gifted storyteller and communicator, Jon once told his kids a story about how the whole universe fit in a single tear on an angel’s face. If we ever wondered why the angel was crying, we know now. None of us can imagine losing Jon without shedding a tear or two.
Born August 26, 1966, and raised in Rochester, MN, by a loving, strong family, Jon adventured to Utah in 1998, where he has worked, played, made music, volunteered, founded, loved, and contributed selflessly, leaving a lasting legacy of lives impacted. If you knew Jon, you couldn’t help but love him for his warm and delightful personality. Jon filled every moment with laughter, life, and meaning, and all of his family and friends, his clients, his random acquaintances, and the stranger at the cash register were smiling after a few words. He possessed a quality that is so rare these days... he listened. Really listened. When you were with him, you always felt heard, valued, and understood. He was an amazing man, and the world is a much dimmer place without Jon Henry. In lieu of flowers, please share a story or memory about Jon, sent to

Jon leaves behind his adoring wife, Cheryl; two exceptional children, Jonson and Jo; his beloved parents and extended family; and countless friends touched by his authenticity. He will be deeply missed. We invite you to a celebration of his inspiring life on Thursday, February 9th, at 3 p.m. at Creekside Christian Fellowship, 1400 Bitner Road, Park City. Bring a sweet treat to share if you wish and wear bright colors (orange was his favorite) since Jon filled this world with sweetness and color. Care entrusted to Probst Family Funerals.
