John Clark Muhlestein passed away June 7, 2022, at his home in Heber City. Clark was born March 5, 1937, in Provo to George & Ella Muhlestein. He married Robyn McKnight on November 18, 2000. Clark loved shooting trap, boating, hunting, fishing and having coffee with Chippy. After his children Clark would say his biggest accomplishment was Heber Lumber. Clark worked in the lumber business for 52 years and loved every minute of it. His favorite thing to do while he was there was talk to everyone that walked in the door. Many friends were made during his time there. He loved going 4 wheeling with Jack and spending time at home admiring the view from his back yard. Later in life Clark loved going out and mowing the lawn whether it was at his home or Soldier Hollow. Clark loved watching westerns and sharing his Diet Coke with the grandkids.
Clark is survived by his wife Robyn Muhlestein; Son Brett (Brandi) Muhlestein; Stepdaughters Brooke (Ted) Budd; April Giles; McKinna (Jordan) Clyde; Siblings Marna (Grant) Patch; Ralph (Jeanne) Muhlestein; Kathryn (Phil) Wright; Many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces & Nephews.
Preceded in death by Parents George & Ella Muhlestein; Son Brian Muhlestein; Stepdaughter Amberly Giles; Brother Harold Muhlestein; Sister LaRae Whiting & Brother-in-Law Gene Whiting; Great Granddaughter Mulisha.
Two days after Clark’s death, his Granddaughter Shauni passed away due to complications from childbirth. He loved her dearly.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday June 15th at 11am at the Charleston Ward, 3450 S 3500 W. A viewing will be held on Tuesday June 14th from 6-8 pm and 9-10:30 am prior to the service at the same location. Interment will be at the Heber City Cemetery.
