Joanna Ruth Simon

Joanna Ruth Simon (Nee Bridge), age 53, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at her home in Heber. She was born, with her “wombmate” April 22, 1966 in Bromley, Kent, near London, England to Carole and Robert (Bob) Bridge. She was a 1982 graduate of Tadcaster Grammar School. She married John Simon on August 7, 1987 in Florida. Joanna worked as a hostess and manager at Su-Shin Japanese Restaurant displaying a wonderful knack for keeping a very busy little restaurant running smoothly and successfully.
Joanna truly loved people, everywhere and anywhere. She had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way.
She is survived by her twin sister, Alison, a brother-in-law, Mike (Bil), her ex-husband John, (the love of her life), her nephews, Spencer and Christian, her step-father Michael, her step-brother Adrian, her Auntie Fran.
Family and friends and others whose lives Joanna touched are invited to Probst Heber Valley Funeral Home at 288 North Main Street to reminisce, grieve, support each other and of course, just chat on Wednesday, July 31st at 6:00 pm.
