Jo Ann Demoss

Jo Ann DeMoss, age 70, passed away on August 28, 2023, in her home in Wallsburg, Utah.
Jo was born on December 22, 1952, in Paul’s Valley, Oklahoma to Elmer Keith and Effie Jo Ownsby. On August 20, 1982, she married the love of her life, Ed DeMoss. Together they would often spend time in the mountains riding mules and camping.
Jo had a strong passion for quilting. She made many beautiful quilts for her family, friends, and neighbors. If you have one of her quilts, you know that they are a treasure.
Jo spent 14 years driving school buses for the school district; she loved those kids, and they loved her. She enjoyed traveling to Tucson, Arizona every year for spring break to visit her special friend Joyce Clark.
Jo was the driving force of the family and put everyone’s needs before her own. She will be greatly missed by all.
Jo is survived by her sweet husband Ed DeMoss, daughter Dana (Reggie) Kohler, son Daryl (Christy) DeMoss, daughter Julie (David) Pyron, son Chet (Debbie) DeMoss, fourteen grandchildren and a bunch of great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
