On November 3, 2017 Jimmie (Jim) Smith passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the age of 80. Jim was a kind gentle man that loved spending time with his wife Marion and his best friend Charlie. Jim enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time out-doors. Jim married Virginia Lee Reese, later divorced, he married Marion Snyder Stephens they enjoyed their years together in Heber City. Jim was born February 12, 1937 to Albert Richard and Matilda (Tillie) Smith.
He is survived by his wife Marion Snyder Stephens and his children Mary (Paul) Nolan, Lorie Smith, Claudette (Sam) Stout, DeAnn (Robert) Armstrong and Jeffrey (Angie) Smith. Chad (Dawn) Stephens, Darlene (Carl) Crosser, Dallas (Rashelle) Stephens and Cindie (Darren) Davis. Twenty-four grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his parents and siblings.
Jim loved spending time with his friends at the Holiday Lanes Bowling Alley in Heber. To honor his wishes there will be a graveside service at the Heber City Cemetery on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at noon. Immediately following the graveside service will be a celebration of life and luncheon at the Holiday Lanes Bowling Alley from 12:30 – 3:00.
