Jeremy Eugene Barnes, a beloved brother, uncle, and friend, was born on February 2, 1971, in Anchorage, Alaska. He departed from this world on August 31, 2025, in Heber, Utah, leaving behind a legacy that will be cherished by all who knew him.
As a finish carpenter, Jeremy poured immense skill and passion into his work, transforming wood into beautiful creations with his hands. His dedication to craftsmanship was evident in every project he undertook, earning him respect and admiration in his community. Jeremy was not only talented at his craft, but he also had a zest for life that was infectious.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Jeremy had a deep love for the great outdoors. He found joy in hunting and fishing, often spending weekends immersed in nature’s beauty. His adventurous spirit also led him to travel, where he explored new places and cultures, always returning with stories to share and memories to treasure. Among his proudest accomplishments was earning his pilot's license, a testament to his love for airplanes and the freedom of flight.
Jeremy is survived by his loving sister, Monique Barnes, and his cherished nieces, Taylor Rouse and Skye Rouse. He also leaves behind Uncle Dean Barnes and Aunt Jennie Barnes, along with many more aunts, uncles, and cousins who will carry his memory forward.
He is preceded in death by his dear parents, Brent Barnes and LaDean Barnes, who nurtured his spirit and passions throughout his life.
Jeremy will be deeply missed, not only for his talents and interests but for the love he shared with those around him. His warmth, humor, and generosity will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends.
