Jerry was born on October 13, 1964 in San Bernardino, California and he was unexpectedly taken home on March 21, 2023. He spent his early years growing up in Southern California and his teenage years in Arizona, where he graduated from Mohave High School in Bullhead City, Arizona. Jerry moved to Cripple Creek, Colorado in 1997, where he worked in the gaming industry for over 20 years. It was during this period when he adopted his boys Wesley and Jordan, to whom Jerry devoted his life until his passing. In 2021 Jerry and Jordan moved to Heber City, Utah where Jerry worked as an assistant baseball coach and a caregiver for special needs adults.
Jerry was passionate about the things he loved. Jerry loved all sports but excelled in baseball, which he played and coached in some form or fashion pretty much his whole life. Jerry also loved bowling, country music, horses and he had an artistic side as well that included woodcarving and leatherwork. Jerry’s greatest love was by far his boys.
Jerry is survived by his parents Denny and Jean Warrick and his siblings Steve Warrick, Cheryl Smith and Shawn Warrick. We would like to thank all those that have loved and helped Jerry over the years and all the generous support that has been provided to help with his services.
A service will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel at 715 East 600 South, Heber City, Utah 84032. Interment will take place in the Heber City Cemetery. To stream the services, please visit
