Jean Elizabeth Dorsey

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jean Elizabeth Dorsey on September 17, 2025, at age 82. She passed peacefully, surrounded by her husband of 64 years (Edward Dorsey), her three daughters (Sharon Dorsey, Lynn D. Bleil, and Lisa Dorsey Wild), and extended family in her final days. 

Jean was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother to six, and great-grandmother to two, cherishing time with family above all. 

Jean was born in Yonkers NY, where she met Ed as a teen and promptly married and started a family. Ed and Jean lived in NY for many years before moving to Golden CO, where they volunteered extensively and enjoyed numerous adventures for >30 years. 

In January 2025, they moved to Spring Gardens in Heber City, UT, to be closer to more family and their great-grandchildren who lit up their world. Jean will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on November 26, 2025 in Kamas, Utah.
