Harold Eugene "Buck" Parker

May 3, 1974 — May 18, 2024

Harold Eugene “Buck” Parker Jr, born on May 3, 1974 in Roosevelt, UT to Sharon Kay Wales and the late Harold Eugene “Peach” Parker was tragically taken from this earthly life on May 18, 2024. Beloved son, husband, father, and friend to all who knew and loved him, Buck touched so many hearts in his 50 years of full throttle living.

Buck loved his family. They truly were his life’s work and finest achievement. Buck and Summer celebrated the birth of their son Brighton on May 19, 1998. Their family union became official on August 21, 1999 when Buck married his best friend and the love of his life nearly 25 years ago. The Parkers created a life filled with adrenaline, adventure, and most importantly, a bond of love and strength of character that will never be broken.

Buck’s spirit and boundless love live on through his wife Summer, son Brighton (Maddy Hill) Parker, mother Sharon Kay Wales, sister Wendy (Ronnie) Giles, Ryan (Kristin) Giles, Jordan Giles and Jen (Gipper) Finau, many aunts, uncles, and an ever-growing family of cousins, nieces, and nephews in Wyoming, and his Heber “Crest “crew,” whom he considered family.

Buck was the proud owner of Crest Contracting, established in 2006, and took great pride in his craft. Buck loved building things, almost as much as he loved the outdoors. Throughout his life, Buck’s passion for nature, and anything with a motor, was contagious. Whether taking his new boat out for his 50th in Havasu, off roading – the muddier the better –, heliskiing in Canada, Marlin fishing in Mexico, visiting the cathedrals of Spain, or playing his favorite video game with family and friends, Buck could always be found with a smile, a hug, and one very well groomed beard. He had the spirit of a viking and the heart of an angel. He was loyal, kind, and saw value in every single person that he met.

Buck was also a pillar of strength in the community, a barrel chested force to be reckoned with who chose laughter over fighting and life over fear. May our fearless warrior fly into the eternal unknown with the same grace and mercy by which he chose to live his life.
