Harmon Duke Probst quietly passed away surrounded by his family on January 6, 2025, after a short illness. Harmon and his beloved wife of 63 years, DeAnn (Didericksen), moved to Erda, UT in 2021 after residing in Livermore, CA for 55 years. Harmon practiced Dentistry in Livermore for 54 years and deeply cared for and loved his patients, which they kindly reciprocated. Harmon was known for his humility and great faith throughout his life. As a young man he served a 2.5-year mission in the Spanish-American Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and became a beloved local church leader in Livermore serving as a Bishop, Stake President and Patriarch.
Harmon is preceded in death by his parents, Vernon & Melba Probst; siblings, Gayle and Kendal Probst; and daughter, Heidi Probst Hinckley. He is survived by his wife; six children and in-laws, Holly Huntington (George), Thayne (Laurie), Lyle (Jill), Heather, Ryan (Danna) and Hilary Allred (Darin); 20 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren (plus one on the way).
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 17, 2025, and include a viewing (10:00-11:00 am) and service (11:30 am) at the LDS Church Building in Erda, UT, 323 E. Erda Way, Erda Utah 84074. The service will also be available via Zoom
