Gordon Ford Jepperson

November 3, 1937 — March 12, 2023

Gordon Ford Jepperson, 85, of Wallsburg Utah, passed away March 12, 2023. Gordon was born on November 3, 1937 to Susie Ludene and Ford Nelson Jepperson.

As a young man, Gordon delivered papers earning money to help his family out. While delivering papers he came to know the love of his life, Bonnie Shepherd. They had a mutual love of horses and rodeos. They went on to marry, April 17, 1956 in Orem, Utah. They were later sealed to each other and their children for time and all eternity, in the Salt Lake City temple on March 24, 1976.

Gordon served with the National Guard in Pleasant Grove, Utah from November 1954 to September 1960.

Gordon was the father to 15 children. He worked hard to provide for his family at Geneva Rock along with several other side jobs.

Gordon loved animals and always had a small farm with a variety of different ones. He also had a talent for building things, anywhere from a horseshoe Christmas tree to buckboards. He could whittle an animal out of any piece of wood. Other hobbies included horse shoeing, horseback riding and hunting with his boys, making hundreds of yarn hats for anyone in need, making funny animal noises and telling jokes. He loved western's and could spend all day watching rodeos.

Gordon along with his wife Bonnie, served 2 senior missions in Nauvoo, Illinois for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Shepherd Jepperson, and parents, His brother Ronald, and sisters, Susann Chapman and Rebecca Carter. Grandson Trae Kent Jepperson and Great Grandson Bridger Clint Ercanbrack.

He is survived by his siblings, Dennis Jepperson, Dan Jepperson, Lester Jepperson and Darlene Ostveen.
Children, Cindy (Stuart) Tanner, Julie (Jose) Higuera, Gordy Jepperson, Arthur Jepperson, Bonnie (Bill) Richins, Larry (Melinda) Jepperson, Jeff (Deana) Jepperson, Delbert (Melanie) Jepperson, Angi (Jeff) Lamb, Teena Jepperson, Jason (Janet) Jepperson, Justin (Kim) Jepperson, Lucille (Rusty) O' Driscoll, Lisa (Jeremy) Nelson and Lance (Meagan) Jepperson.
