Glenna Price Wilson

August 16, 1927 — June 17, 2014

Glenna Levenia Price Wilson peacefully passed away on June 17, 2014 in Levan, Utah. The daughter of Bill and Levenia Gibson Price, Mom was born in Park City, Utah on August 16, 1927. She was raised in the Heber Valley (Center Creek) and attended school in Wasatch County. She married Glade S. Wilson on April 1, 1948 and later their marriage was sealed for time and eternity in the Provo Temple. They made their home in beautiful Midway, Utah, where they raised their family. Glenna was a proud and wonderful mother to her six children, Patricia (John) Ford, George (Roxanne) Wilson, Vaughn Wilson (deceased), Trudy (Larry) Stump, Kathy (David) Allison and Keary (Reed) Stephens. She always put her family first and made many personal sacrifices so that they could have and do the things they wanted to do. She loved watching Glade, and later her children and grandchildren, play baseball, softball, rodeo and many other sports. A lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Glenna served in numerous positions throughout her life, including Ward and Stake Librarian, her favorite calling. She worked hard her entire life, not only as a homemaker, but in many different jobs in Midway, Heber and Park City. Her last, and most loved, was being Granny to Katie and Justin Peasley. Glenna is survived by 5 children, 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, her sisters Reta Wilson and Darlene North, sister-in –law Lois Price, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, beloved brother Jack Price, sister Nellie North and her husband Raymond, brothers – in-law Calvin North and Earl Wilson, her precious son Vaughn, granddaughter Amy Allison and Justin Peasley. We know there was a joyous reunion with all her loved ones when she arrived in that perfect place called heaven and are grateful that she is finally at peace.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Victorian House (Levan, Utah) owners, Kaye Mitchell and Amberlee Worwood and their wonderful staff for their loving care of our mother the past 2 ½ years as well as to Julie Chase and Central Valley hospice staff.
