Glenn was born to Glen Wayne North and Irene Morris North on June 11, 1938 in Heber City, Utah. Glenn married Elda Rae Giles November 14, 1969 in the Salt Lake City Temple. Children: Daren Glenn North and Karen Rae North (of Heber). Glenn was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Glenn served in the US Army in Italy for two years. He worked with his brother Darrell and Brother-in-law Clarence Welch in the Timber above Kamas. He worked for the Park City mining company. Later he worked for Hilton Service as a mechanic 38 years. Glenn was a quiet man didn’t have too much to say. Loved fishing, hunting deer and camping.
He is survived by his wife Elda Rae Giles North and children: Daren and Karen North, Three sisters: Erva (Glen) Roberts, Glendell (Leo) Speirs, Lueann (Roy) Singleton: deceased: Gladys Farrer, Dora McAffee, Evelyn Rollins, Kay Welch and Brother Darrell, Father-in-law Calvin Giles, Brother-in-laws: Lewis (Leisa) Giles, Dan (Rosemary) Giles, Ben H. (Virginia) Giles, Ernest (Maryann) Giles, Kelly (Carolyn) Giles, Sister-in-laws: Anita (Greg) Allen, and Marcia (Rick) Mecham.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, January 15th, 2020 at 11:30 am at the Heber City Cemetery. Viewings will be held at the Old Mill 2nd Ward (715 East 600 South, Heber City) Tuesday, January 14th from 6-7:30 pm, and again on Wednesday from 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM.
