Glenn Adolph Hafen, 83, of Heber City, UT passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2024. He was born February 10, 1941 in St. George, UT to Paul and Helen (Forsha) Hafen. On August 11, 1971, he was united in marriage to Linda Hafen in Sausalito, CA.
Throughout his life, he worked at a variety of places including E Lazy T Ranch, Sunrise Nursery, and Transportation American Land and Leisure as Camp Chef.
He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was not only was the life of the party, but he was also the one that started the party. There was always fantastic food, fun entertainment, and amazing people to share it with. He could outcook anyone and always made sure your glass and plate were full. He loved to fish and hunt with family and friends. He was the best guide and could put you on the biggest fish, deer, or elk around. He organized many stock show events and taught so many young people how to care for and show their animals.
Glenn is survived by his children, Joshua Hafen of Heber City, UT, Thane Hafen of Caldwell, ID, Aaron (Marcia) Curry of Sioux Falls, SD, and John Curry of Sioux Falls, SD; 21 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his spouse, Linda Hafen; parents, Paul and Helen Hafen; brother, Tony Hafen; sister, Pauline (Hafen) Nelson; daughter, Kelly Wallenstein; and son, Jeff Hafen.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 27, 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Charleston Town Hall at 3454 W 3400 S, Heber City, UT 84032 with plenty of food so come hungry! A viewing will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2024 from 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM with at funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM at Heber Valley Funeral Home at 288 North Main Street, Heber City, Utah 84032. Interment will follow the services at the Heber City Cemetery.
