Gary John Rice, age 79, passed away January 12, 2018 at home. He was born August 7, 1938 in Castle Gate, Utah to Walter and Ila Rice. He married Merrolyn Johansen on November 26, 1966.
Gary worked as a meat cutter for many years and retired running the family fish farm. He loved working with wood, being outside, and hunting.
He is survived by 2 sons and two daughters, Tod (Courtney) Rice, Vernal, UT; Shaun (Jodi) Rice, Kamas, UT; Pam Williams; Vernal, UT; Corinne Rice, Samak, UT; 17 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Kim Rice, 3 brothers and 1sister.
No services are being held at Gary’s request. He will be missed by many - We will think of him often.
