Gary Earl Bonner, age 89, passed away on November 20, 2022, in Midway, Utah. He
was born on March 6, 1933, in the middle room at the old Bonner house in Midway to Glade and
Burnice Webster Bonner. He married Carol Ingels on July 8, 1961.
Dad was a building contractor and built many homes in Wasatch and Summit County. He
loved his family and we sure love him. He spent many hours teaching his kids and grandkids to
love boating, pheasant hunting, and golf. He spent countless hours with his grandchildren riding
around on the 4-wheeler. Dad had a sense of humor and was always a favorite wherever he was.
Dad was a Boston Celtics Fan until the Jazz came to Utah and he became a Jazz fan for life. Dad
lived a long life full of love and laughter.
He is survived by his wife, Carol, his children, Gary Lynn Bonner, Kristine (Kevin)
Kutschkau, Thomas W (Angie) Bonner, and Brandon R. Bonner, 12 grandchildren, 20 greatgrandchildren with 2 more any day, brothers Wayne (Shirley), Richard (Carole), Louis (Carma),
and sister Glenna Smith.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Thomas (LaRae), sister Beverly
Ercanbrack, father and mother-in-law Ralph and Afton Ingels, stepfather Raymond W. Davis,
and grandson Kai Kutschkau.
A viewing will be held on Friday, November 25, 2022 from 6-8 PM and again on
Saturday November 26, 2022, from 9:30 – 10:30 AM with a funeral service to follow at 11 AM
at the Wasatch Mountain Ward, 165 North Center Street, Midway, Utah.
Interment will follow at the Midway City Cemetery, 600 West 500 South, Midway, Utah.
