G. Frederick Clark (Fred), beloved by family and friends, died peacefully at the age of 94 on January 21, 2019. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Charles M. Clark and Mary Lucile Bulow, he spent winters in Provo with his parents, and summers in Moroni, Utah where he worked on the Bulow family farm. After graduation from Provo High, he married Leota Demos. Fred began working for Mountain Fuel Supply at the age of seventeen, and continued working for them for 50 years, retiring as a district manager for Wasatch and Summit Counties. During this time the family lived in Provo, Orem, Springville, and Heber City, Utah.
He was a member of the LDS Church, served in two bishoprics and on the high council. He enjoyed teaching the High Priest Group in Heber City, Utah and his temple callings. He served as an active member of The Rotary Club, participating in many community and civic affairs.
Fred loved golfing, fishing, hunting, boating, and woodworking. Coming from the depression era, he could never throw anything away. He loved to restore furniture and could fix anything from cars to watches.
In 1992, Leota passed away. After ten years as a widower, Fred married Joy Allred of Heber City. They delighted in taking care of her family property in Hanna, Utah.
Fred is survived by his wife, Joy, his son Steven F. Clark, (Pam) Eden, UT, his son Richard Clark (Cindy) Orem, UT, his daughter Melodee MacEwen (Scott) Orem, UT. Fred is preceded in death by his siblings: Charles, Carol, Don and two who died in infancy, Robert and Marie.
Funeral services will be held January 26th at 11:00am. Heber City Fifth Ward, (150 North 200 West, Heber City, Utah). Viewing will be held prior to services 9:30-10:30am. Interment in Heber City Cemetery.
