Francis Shirlene Walton, age 85, passed away in Provo, Utah on Oct. 16, 2020. She was born Dec. 22, 1934 in Park City, Utah to Floyd David and LaPrele Winterton Hamilton. She grew up in Park City and graduated from Park City High School. Shortly after graduation she married Stanley S Walton in Midway and they were later sealed together in the Provo Temple. Together they moved to Salt Lake City and started their family. They later moved to Midway for a few years before finally settling in Daniels.
Shirlene was very happy being a wife and mother. She was always making sure her home was neat and clean. There was always a home cooked meal ready for the family every night. She loved baking for her family and friends. She seemed to make friends easily and was always a treasured friend in return. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in many callings including Primary President and Relief Society. She loved being a visiting teacher and visiting ward members with her husband. Her husband Stanley passed away May 15, 2016 and she has missed him each day since. They are now enjoying a welcomed reunion together. She will be missed dearly by her friends and family.
Shirlene is survived by her children; Gary (Barbara) Walton, Ron (Betty) Walton and Brenda Walton. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and her sister Sharon Hernandez along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
