Evelyn Cazier Hall was born on October 20th 1927 in Brigham City, Utah, to Mary Evelyn Panter and Stephen Alloyd Cazier. We just recently celebrated her 90th birthday! On Dec. 1st she suffered a massive stroke and passed away on Dec. 5th 2017. We are sure it was a joyous reunion in Heaven as she was reunited with her husband and her parents and siblings. Her father passed away when she was only 13 years old, leaving her mother with eight children. Zola, Claras, La Dene, Allen, Geneal, "lil" Evelyn, Max and Carole. A few years later Mary Evelyn married Lucious Johnson a widower with four children, Orpha, Beth, Marie and Hi. Evelyn always considered them her own brother and sisters and remained close all of their lives. Evelyn attended Box Elder High School and later married Frank Lewis Hall in the Salt Lake Temple on June 22nd, 1951. Frank was recently home from his mission to Australia and was due to report to Fort Ord, California in just a few weeks. So with the help of siblings and friends they planned their wedding in two weeks. Their honeymoon was a trip to California in a borrowed car. When Frank was released from the Army they decided to stay in sunny Southern California. So, all five of their children were born and raised in So. Calif. They lived in North Hollywood, Burbank, Simi Valley and later in Apple Valley. After retiring they moved to Utah to be closer to family.
Everyone who knew Evelyn knew 3 things, 1) she could sew ANYTHING!, 2) she was fiercely independent and loved to be of service, 3) She LOVED B.Y.U. Football. For her 80th birthday Julee took her to a B.Y.U. Football game at home in Provo and gave her a blue and white football signed by most of the big name guys on the team. She loved that football and getting her picture taken with some of the guys as they came out of the locker room and with the cheerleaders. They all thought she was so cute! When she lived in California it was the L.A. Dodgers but when she moved to Utah it was B.Y.U. all the way!! Evelyn is survived by two Sisters, five Children, 13 Grandchildren, and 26 Great Grandchildren. With many more to come.
