Elma "Johnnie" Clyde

Elma L. Clyde, born March 2, 1934 to Matt and Verda Wright Leahy in Heber, Utah. Left us on May 12, 2016 peacefully at home with her family at her side. She married Marvis A. Clyde in 1952 and together they had four cherished children in a little over 2 years. Mom and Dad worked side-by-side all of their lives. She was a wonderful woman and will be dearly missed by many.

She is survived by her daughter Jayne Wright, son Ed (Nina) Clyde, son-in-law Fred Hardman, daughter-in-law Dawnette Clyde, 17 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren, 3 great great-grandchildren sisters, Pat (Jim) Duke, Elva Wright and Verdawn Nelson. Preceded in death by her parents, the love of her life Marvis, her precious children; Joyce Hardman and J.L. “Cubby” Clyde, brother Bill Leahy, sister Annette Thom and grandchildren Amber and Billy.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at the Heber 9th Ward LDS Chapel (325 E. 500 N., Heber, UT). There will be a viewing from 6-8pm on Monday, May 16, 2016 and also from 9:30-10:30am before the services both at the church. Interment will follow in the Heber City Cemetery.
