Elizabeth Ann (Hobbs) Lewis, our Mother and hero, passed from this mortal existence to her eternal reward on April 13, 2020, and the world is a poorer place for it. Beth was born on September 21, 1946 in Ontario, Oregon to William Everett and Vivian (Gardner) Hobbs. Beth raised and blessed the lives of six children: David Lewis of Elk Grove, California; Dawn Christensen, of Heber City, Utah; Danielle Connelley, Denise Wayne, and Darin Lewis of West Valley City, Utah; and Douglas Lewis of West Jordan, Utah. She is also the grandmother of 16 beautiful grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren with whom she loved to play. She is also survived by two siblings: Rose Burke and David Hobbs of Nampa, Idaho. Everyone she knew feel privileged to have been the recipient of her love. Beth lived to serve other people and If anyone she met needed a friend or a simple act of kindness she would be there. Her humility prevented her from recognizing how many people’s lives she touched. Her lifelong love of sewing and quilting will bless the lives of many for years to come as they bask in the warmth of her creations. She was also a fun person with a love of Star Wars, BYU sports, and playing games. It would be hard to find a person with greater love who touched the lives of so many. A life-long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, she maintained her faith to the end despite many challenges. Her strength in the face of adversity and her example to the world will live on in the hearts of her descendants. She will be buried at Valley View Memorial Park on April 18, 2020. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 restrictions, services can be attended only by her children and their spouses. Friends and family may visit the online guest book and share a memory of Beth at
