Eduvijes Payan, 62, passed away on April 14, 2023 surrounded by his family. He was born on October 17, 1960 in Huejotitan, Chihuahua, MX and married Humberta Salcido in 1982.
Ed was a man full of life, caring and smiling to all he met. A hard-working man who, through perseverance, successfully ran two local businesses, “La Norteñita” & “Taqueria Los Hermanos.” He became a well-known and loved person of our community. During his last years he enjoyed the outdoors, and spending more time with his family and grandkids. He was honorable, respectful, humble, and he was always seeking to give a helping hand. He is survived by his mother, siblings, wife (Humberta), 4 kids (Mayra, Erik, Brenda, Erica), and grandkids. He will be greatly missed.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Heber Valley Funeral Home, at 288 North Main Street, Heber City, Utah, 84032. A funeral mass will be held the following day at 1:00 PM on Thursday, April 20, 2023, at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church at 1505 White Pine Canyon Road, Park City, UT 84060. Followed by burial services at Heber City Cemetery.

Eduvijes Payan, 62, falleció el 14 de abril de 2023 rodeado por su familia. El nació el 17 de Octubre del 1960 en Huejotitan, Chihuahua, MX y se casó con Humberta Salcido en el 1982.
Eduvijes fue un hombre lleno de vida, cariñoso, y sonriente a todos los que conocía. Un hombre muy trabajador que tras su perseverancia, exitosamente tuvo dos negocios locales, “La Norteñita” y “Taqueria Los Hermanos.” El se convirtió en alguien muy conocido y amado por la comunidad. Durante sus últimos años el disfrutaba la naturaleza, y pasando más tiempo con sus hijos y nietos. Fue un hombre honorable, respetuoso, humilde y siempre buscaba ser servicial. Lo sobreviven su madre, hermanos, esposa (Humberta), 4 hijos (Mayra, Erik, Brenda, Erica), y nietos. Lo extrañaremos muchísimo!
Sera velado el Miércoles, 19 de Abril de 2023 de las 5:00 PM a 9:00 PM en la funeraria Heber Valley Funeral Home, 288 North Main Street, Heber City, Ut, 84032. La misa se llevara acabo el Jueves, 20 de Abril de 2023 a la 1:00 PM en la Iglesia Católica de Saint Mary’s, 1505 White Pine Canyon Road, Park City, Ut 84060. Procedimos el servicio en el panteón de Heber Cemetery.
