Our loving mother, grandmother and friend, Doris Ford Batty, 91, passed away Friday August 21, 2015 in Heber, Utah. Born February 5, 1924 in Wallsburg, Utah to Ervin and Stella Ford. Doris married her sweetheart, Cullen Batty, in Evanston, Wyoming on September 5, 1942, later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Doris served in many church callings through the years. Doris and Cullen loved to dance throughout the years. They owned and operated the cattle auction in Roosevelt, Utah. Doris and Cullen were snowbirds and loved the 24 winters they spent in Henderson, Nevada, enjoying countless hours of bingo, but were always happy to get home to their beautiful Wallsburg Valley. Doris always had pets and loved her little dog Toby. Doris was a gardener and had an amazing garden and beautiful flowers. Wherever Doris lived her neighbors became good friends. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
