Our brave grandfather, son, father, brother, uncle, best friend and angel, Dewey Blain Lee, 74 passed away peacefully at his home in Roosevelt, Utah on Friday, March 13, 2015, after a short but courageous battle with esophageal cancer.
Dewey had a very adventurous life. He always had a great story. He had a heart of gold and never ever met a stranger.
Dewey joined the Navy in 1960 and served four years, receiving the purple heart of valor beyond the call of duty. Dewey excelled in many things. He was an amazing painter and extraordinary car salesman. His greatest adventure was having a family and he loved his family selflessly. Dewey married Connie Sabey and together they had one daughter, Jamie Lee Brown and later divorced. Connie and Dewey were friends upon his demise.
Dewey married Rayne Cossey and together they had one daughter, Nikki Denae Lee, and welcomed two more daughters in his life that he chose to adopt as his own, Robin Smith and Katrena Pianalto.
Dewey was blessed by all his children in giving him grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is survived by both previous wives Connie Sabey and Rayne Lee, daughters; Jamie (Steve) Brown, Nikki Lee and Jason Simonton, Robin (Don) Smith, and Katrena (Tony) Pianalto, grandchildren; Rustin (Lindsay) Mair, Stephen (Jennifer) McCauley, Ashlie Lee, Brynlee, Avery, Lukah, Hunter, Heath, India, Taylor, Trinity, Kristina (Kevin) Sherrill, Autumn (Ryan) Davis, Jacquetta and Nikolas, great-grandchildren; Paisley, Scarlet, Gradie, Rustin Jr., Colby, Kenzi, Kenna, Kinzey, Jacelynn, Krayston, Stocton, Elizabeth, Nevaeh, Kaiden, Kolby, Braiden, Brianna and Kimani. His borthers and sisters Robbie Earlene Bragg, Elderidge (Rose) Lee, Patricia (Neil) Broadhead and Joyce (Steve) Swena. Dewey is preceeded in death by his parents Earl and Stella (Horn) Lee, brothers; Donnie Dale Lee, Ima Jean Lee, Charles, LoDema and Cleatus, brother-in-law Gary Bragg and nephew Rick Bragg.
Graveside service will be held at Heber City Cemetery on Wednesday, March 18th at 12:00 pm with a viewing for close family and friends one hour prior to the graveside services. He is already greatly missed.
