David J Urban

David J Urban passed away after a battle with cancer the morning of Saturday October 7th 2023 at the age of 67. David was born in the small town of Johnstown, Pennsylvania on December 5, 1955 and was married to Sue Urban on June 3, 1995.

David Served in the US Army for 13 years ranked as SSGT. While in the Army he had a passion for skiing he taught enlisted men how to ski in Garmisch, Germany and continued to teach skiing after the military in Park City. David loved to spend his time with friends and family camping, watching Steelers football and Riding his motorcycle with his wife.

David was preceded in death by his parents Joseph Casey and Stella Urban, step-son Jonathan Sorensen and one grandson.

David is survived by his daughter Tabitha (Jordan) Wright, Andrew and Lacey Sorensen, Brittany Sorensen, 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the Heber Valley Funeral Home 288 North Main Street Heber City, UT 84032 on Monday October 16th at 11:00am and can be streamed using the following link:
