Our father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Danny Stephen Tucker passed away peacefully in his home on March 26, 2022.
He was born in Murray, Utah on May 19, 1936 and was one of three boys born to Howard and Lyle Tucker. At age 8, his family moved to the Heber Valley and in 1955 he graduated from Wasatch High School. Dan was married to Agnes Jones Tucker on August 24, 1957 and had just celebrated 62 years of marriage before her passing in 2020. As a young adult Dan enlisted in the US Navy, he was stationed on Treasure Island and was honorably discharged in 1962. Dan had many jobs in his lifetime including but not limited to: working at a dairy farm as a kid, raising foxes and mink, farming hay, and running a tanning salon later in life. He was also a member of the operating engineers local union number 3 for 56 years.
Dan enjoyed telling stories about his life, the jobs he had through the years and about his work in the military. He loved to go on gambling trips and quite often went to Mesquite, Nevada.
Dan is survived by his daughters Stephanie Jim Woolstenhulme and Melanie Tucker North, his 11 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
Dan is preceded in death by his parents Howard and Lyle Tucker, brothers Neale and Johnny Tucker and grandson Preston Bunk North.
