Dan E Hardman

April 14, 1953 — October 4, 2020

Our beloved friend and brother. Dan Eli Hardman, passed away peacefully Sunday morning, Oct. 4th with his loving siblings at his side.

He was the devoted son of Earl and Jean (Carroll) Hardman. Born April 14, 1953, the 5th of 8 children.He grew up in a happy and loving family. They spent countless hours in the Mountains, cutting wood,hunting, fishing, always enjoying the great outdoors. The yearly deer hunts were the highlight for the brothers and their father.

He received his Eagle Scout award. A graduate of Wasatch High School. After graduating, he became a welder, and spent time in Nebraska, Colorado, and Wyoming with that trade. After moving back to Utah, he worked on the CUWProject, with his brother Wayne. After that he went to construction work in Park City. When he retired, he worked with Hylton Haueter on sprinkling systems.

Dan was a AVID PHEASANT HUNTER. Everything shut-down for the Pheasant hunts. He loved his hunting dogs. Had several great friends he went hunting with.

Dan is survived by his brothers: Guy, Jeff, Wayne, Fred, Twitch, and sisters: Jayne and Shirley. He is preceeded in death by his parents, his brothers Chad and Kent, and a dear niece Keziah.

The family would like to express their gratitude to all those dear friends who came and visited with him. He was so grateful to share so many memories with so many friends and loved ones. A special thanks to Susan Kohler for all she did, to the sweet nurses who lovingly cared for him. and especially to all his siblings, for there love and support during his trial.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 10th,at 1:00 PM at the home (backyard) of Wayne Hardman’s for the family and close friends, at 54 North 300 West, Heber.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made to the Horse of Many Colors Foundation, in his memory. Contact Mona Webb.
