Dale Hubbard, 85, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at his home in Midway, UT surrounded by his loving family.
Dale was born June 6, 1939 in Grace, Idaho to John Williams Hubbard and Bessie Smith. He was the third of four children and the only boy. He was raised on his family’s ranch in Dillon, MT while spending summers waterskiing on Flathead Lake. After high school, he attended Arizona State University studying business, farming, and agriculture.
After meeting on a blind date, he courted and then married Jeannette Blake on June 6, 1963. They were married for 54 years and raised four children together.
A successful businessman and investor, Dale began his career by owning and managing a ranch in Canada and motels in Canada and New Mexico. The family eventually moved to the Phoenix area at which point they acquired a number of multifamily and residential rental properties over the years. His career ultimately provided flexibility for Dale to spend time with family and friends and pursue many interests over the years. He had periods of his life where he loved riding horses, owning and driving fast cars, owning and flying airplanes, boating and waterskiing with his kids, snow skiing with family, and daily hiking with friend groups amongst other things. Dale was a great conversationalist who loved gathering family, friends, or almost anyone for a meal out at a restaurant on his dime.
In his latter years, Dale’s greatest joy came from visiting with and hearing about everything going on in the lives of his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He adored his family and was always looking forward to the next get together!
Dale lived a full life and wanted to be remembered by the love, laughter, and fun times he shared with family and friends.
Dale was preceded in death by his amazing wife, Jeannette. He is survived by his children, Debbie, Devon, Dawn, Dusty, and Danny along with 17 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
