Clayton Taylor Gardner also known as "FUZZ" left us early Sunday morning September 25th 2016 at the home he built in Scenic, Arizona. Born November 25th 1934 in Wallsburg, Utah to Orval and Georgia Gardner.
He married Lois Gappmayer June 8th 1955 in the Salt Lake Temple. They have 5 children, Genavee, Catherine (David) Shepherd, Kenneth, Russell (Margaret), Martha (Bart) Stembridge, 17 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren. He worked road construction and then went to Geneva Steel where he was known as "Ridge Runner" for 32 years. After retirement he then started his own business "FUZZ's Lumber" building custom and unique things for family and friends including his home in Scenic, Arizona. He enjoyed his church callings. 1st Counselor to Bishop Lorin Smart and then becoming Bishop of the Wallsburg 1st Ward.
He is survived by his sisters, Ellen Peterson, Ida Bigelow and Linda Hanks. Preceded in death by his parents, infant brother and 2 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday, September 30th at 11:00am. There will be a viewing on Thursday, September 29th from 6-8pm and also from 9:30-10:30am prior to the services all at the Wallsburg Church (494 W. Main Canyon Rd, Wallsburg).
