Cindy Winchester Huffaker

Cindy Winchester Huffaker, age 64, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2022 in Murray, Utah. Cindy was born on December 11, 1957, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Stephen Fredrick Winchester and Karen Newbold Winchester.

From an early age, Cindy had a unique love and concern for individuals with special needs. She operated a successful day care service. Cindy had a musical gift and shared it with others, teaching piano and organ lessons. She held many positions in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Cindy had a passion for family history and a special connection with the many people she assisted. She was a devoted wife and mother.

Cindy is preceded in death by her parents, Stephen Fredrick Winchester and Karen Newbold Winchester, her step-dad Junior Rowland Bingham, her son Ethan Price Huffaker, and her brother William Randy Bingham.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne Price Huffaker (married in The Salt Lake Temple, December 19, 1980), her children, Zachary Wayne Huffaker, Karena JoyAnn Huffaker, and Kristy Noelle Huffaker, her siblings Rod Fredrick (Deborah) Winchester, Steven Blake (Sandy) Winchester, Thayne Charles Winchester, Tanya Dee (Daniel Lord) Winchester, Lucille Hilda (Jeff) Winchester, Rowland Sanford (Margaret) Bingham, Kathrine Janet (Fred) Rice, Nathan Morris (Suzanne) Bingham, Kelly Dean (Linda) Bingham, and Dana June Poff, her sisters-in-law, Mary (Ross) Wright, Audrey (Karl) Reese, and Anna (Steven) Pollard, brother-in-law, Allen (Gloria) Huffaker, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles whom she dearly loved.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at 1:00 PM at the Midway City Cemetery, 600 West 500 South, Midway Utah, 84049 with a private family viewing held beforehand.
