On March 17th 2015; a perfect, courageous, brilliant baby boy came into the world. His name was Christopher Holen. Christopher was diagnosed with Trisomy 13 at eighteen weeks gestation. The doctors only gave him 8 more weeks to live. However, he proved them wrong and made it full term. After he was born, he fought to live in this world. He was able to spend 75 minutes with his mommy and daddy. They were privileged to hold him in their arms every second of his life. Christopher was greeted by many friends and family members. He was very loved, adored and admired. He had a perfect soul and we are very blessed he picked our family.
Survived by Dad and Mom, Casey and Sarah Holen; brother of Lillian Holen; grandson of Jim and Rhonda Holen, of Dana Point, California, and Larry and Janette West of Midway, Utah; great-grandma Judy Devries of Sun City, California, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Christopher is preceded in death by his brother, Finn Tyler Holen.
A viewing will be held Monday, March 23 at 11:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Probst Family Funerals in Midway. All friends and family are invited to attend. A private graveside service will follow at the Midway cemetery.
We would like to thank the Heber First Ward, friends, and family for all the support and kindness.
