Carl L. Givens

Our Father, Brother, Uncle and Friend left this mortal life to be with the Angels on February 15, 2017 He died at home with his family by his side. He fought a good fight but Cancer won taking him from his family and friends. He was born August 23, 1958 to LaMond Givens and Leda Batty, In Heber Ut. The only Boy after 5 girls, He was welcomed into this family by his sisters Renee (John) Holiday of Magna Ut. Faye (Phil) Pinter LasVagas NV. Brenda (Bob) Kozlowski, Charleston UT Connie (Ron) Bullock, Mesquite NV. Anna Givens (Deceased) He was raised in Wallsburg Ut.Carl Married Amy Vincent and together they had two children Carleda (Brandon) Jackson and David Givens, and later Divorced. Carl worked many years in the construction field. He also owned and operated with Amy at Round valley marked for many years. Carl was a man with many talents. If you needed help Carl was there to help, even the last few months he would help. He made friends easily and keep them for a lifetime. Carl Loved to Fish, Hunt, Camping, and Visiting with his family and friends. He was a kind and gentle man. He was someone who forgave easily and was always seeing the good in everyone. Carl is survived by his daughter, son, son-in-law, his sisters and their husbands, his nieces and nephews, Debbie, D.R. Holly James, John, Rick, Teresa, Jeannie, and Tracy. His Ex-wife Amy, His best friend Dew Atwood, and his sweet dog Pepi. Preceded in death by his parents, Grandparents and Sister Anna Givens. As per Carls request he will be cremated and there will be a celebration of life for family and friends on August 26, 2017 with a graveside service at 2pm at the Wallsburg Cemetery after the service there will be a get together at the family home in Wallsburg. If you want to spend the night there will be a place to park your trailers, tents, sleeping bags. All friends and family are invited.
