Calvin Giles Clegg

Calvin Giles Clegg, 84, passed away on November 17, 2020 in Gilbert, Arizona. He was born July 26, 1936 in Heber Valley, Utah the son of Almon Giles and Geneva Denison Clegg.

After graduating from Wasatch High School, he proudly served his country in the United States Army and was honorably discharged. After serving in the military he served a 2 year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Chicago, Illinois.

Calvin was married to Bonnie Lee Givens and with this union they had five children, later divorcing. Cal married Dorothy Ruth Acker, whom he loved and adored until she passed away from a courageous battle with cancer. Cal worked 37 years as a production manager for Lynn Wilson Products Company. He thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors; hiking, motorcycles, fishing, and spending time with family. He spent many hours watching gliders and had a true passion for the WW11 era aircrafts. He will be missed by his children and grandchildren.

Calvin is survived by his children; Shawn Clegg, Tonya Harward, Stoney (Robyn) Clegg, Sabrina (Lorenzo) Young; 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, a son, and his brothers.

Graveside services will be held at the Heber City Cemetery at 11am on Tuesday, November 24, 2020.
