Brent L Kummer age 67 died on June 22, 2023, In Heber City Utah. He was born on April 20, 1956 to Ray Kummer and Maxine Bethers. He was married to his sweetheart Connie Jean Kummer on March 27, 1992.
Brent was honest and genuine and he was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, shed hunting and was always cracking jokes. He also loved running, riding his bike, listening to the sounds of nature, watching the birds, turkeys, elk and deer. He loved teaching his children and grandchildren how to fish and hunt and hunting with his family.
He is a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served as a scout leader, primary teacher and as the ward clerk.
He served as a Maintenance Specialist for the Park City School District and as the Buildings and Grounds Supervisor at Utah Valley University, Wasatch Campus. He was awarded the Vice President of Administration and Legislative Affairs Award of Excellence by Utah Valley University.
He especially loved his 33 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Brent is Survived by his wife Connie Jean Kummer, children Jason Kummer, Angela “Angie” (Justin) Coe, Angel (Glenn) McRae, Adam (Johanna) Fugal, Merrill (Tabitha) Fugal, Danny (Kassie) Fugal, Misty (Brandon) Camp, David (Rebecca “Reba”) Fugal, Jody (Ashley) Fugal, brothers Gary (Pauline) Kummer, Randy (Patty) Kummer, Jeffrey (Kim) Kummer, sister Joy (Ralph) Clarke and mother in law Annette Young.
He was preceded in death by his daughters Megan and Crystal, his father Ray Kummer, his mother Maxine Bethers-Sorenson and his granddaughter, Courtney McRae-Grant.
Services will be held on Thursday June 29, 2023 at the LDS chapel at 150 N 200 W, Heber UT with a viewing from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM which will be followed by a family prayer.
The funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM.
Interment will be at the Midway cemetery following his funeral services.
