Brad Darrell Simmons

Died October 31, 2022 in Heber City. He was born January 27, 1954 in Salt Lake City, UT to Darrell and Merline (Berg) Simmons. He married Karrie Lynn Farrer on September 17, 1982. They just celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. Mom has taken care of Dad for over 8 years and him being bed ridden the last 2 ½ years she was his full-time caretaker.
Dad always had a special connection to Tiffany. She was his pride and joy. He loved her dearly. She was always in caregiver mode around dad. She always made sure he had what he needed. Closer to the end of his life she would go in and check his temperature and oxygen levels multiple times day.
Dad loved watching BYU sports!
Princess Sparkles (the cat) will miss snuggling up to dad all day, every day.
In his younger years he enjoyed going hunting with his dad and the extended Simmons family.
Dads’ greatest love was fishing and tying flies. He loved time on the water in his float tube catching as many crappies as he could. He spent countless hours fishing with his son Josh and his buddies. Watch out Steve and Kenny, I hope he will leave some fish for you two to catch in heaven.
He is survived by his wife Karrie Lynn, daughters Brandi (Steve) Simpson, Tiffany, and Shantel (Blaine) Rigby. 8 Grandkids (Simpson) Kahri, Trenton, Kesley and Kiya. (Rigby) MaKynlee, Treyden, Ryndlee and Hayzlee. Sister Luann Davis.
He is preceded in death by his parents Darrell and Merline, son Joshua Simmons, sister Paula Broadhead.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 4th @ 11:00 am. Viewing prior to funeral 9-10:30 am. Viewing Thursday, November 3rd 6-8 pm at the Wheeler Park Ward, 2285 South Daniels Road, Heber.
