Brad L Hulse passed away Sunday March 17, 2024, surrounded by the family he loved following a short battle with Gastric Cancer.
He was born February 14, 1955 to D. Lee Hulse and Ila Cobbley Hulse in Heber, UT. He met his sweetheart Charlene Zenger in High School and later married her January 19, 1976 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Brad was a wonderful husband, father, grandpa, uncle, and friend. Throughout his life with all his health issues his priority was always his wife and making sure she was taken care of first.
Brad loved the outdoors, riding horses, the mountains, traveling and anything to do with cars and Nascar. His pride and joy was his 1956 Ford Custom truck that him and his dad built. Throughout his life he attended many cars shows and won many awards. One of his favorite pastimes was tinkering on cars in the garage and driveway with his son.
Some of our favorite memories with Dad were a summer trip to Jackson Hole Wyoming and later attending the annual Logan Car show with family and friends.
Brad attended Brigham Young University as a communications major and found his love for the radio and being a DJ. Brad was a hard worker and spent years doing cooking, woodworking, and many years working for Clover Club and delivering chips. He found his true passion and career when he became a Sheriff Deputy for Wasatch County fulfilling a lifelong dream. He served for 26 years which was cut short due to health issues. He worked many years in Dispatch and loved that part. He worked years in the Jail helping with policies and procedures and later served as Court Bailiff. His true passion was serving his community, and it was an honor to carry the badge.
He is survived by his best friend Charlene of 48 years, two children Jade (Chris) Smith, Chase (Heather) Hulse and two amazing Granddaughters Jennifer and Samantha Smith; His brothers Michael (Jolyn) Hulse and Scott (Penny) Hulse.
Preceded in death by his parents and in-laws.
