Beverly Jean Sakaye

Beverly Jean Sakaye, age 80 passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home in Heber City, Utah October 6th, 2023.

She was born February 26, 1943, in Breckenridge, Minnesota to Willard & Minerva Brurud.

Beverly & her husband, Joe met in Great Falls, Montana and moved to Utah in 1971 to start their own drywall company, Sakaye & Sons Drywall. Her and her husband, Joe, raised their children in Utah until his retirement in 2006 when they moved back to their beloved Montana for the next chapter in their lives. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend to everyone who knew her. She was happiest spending time with family and friends.

Beverly is survived by her children Joe Wetzel (Annie) from Great Falls Montana, Jody Nicol (Scott) from Heber City, UT, John Sakaye from Great Falls, MT and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Sakaye, father and mother Willard & Minerva Brurud, sisters Betty Brown & Barbara Moe and granddaughters Priscilla Wetzel and Jessica Sweat.
