Becky Lee Nolen got a brand new pair of roller skates and skated
through Heaven's door on June 27, 2020, after her battle with lung
cancer. She passed away peacefully at her daughters' home in Heber
City, Utah
Becky Lee LaFay gifted the world with her presence on July 7, 1955,
born to Don & LaWanna Lafay of Midway, UT.
Becky had a deep love for the mountains. At least five out of seven
days a week, she would be off on a gallivant seeking her mountain air
and nature. She knew every road in the North Fields and had them all
named. Sometimes, she was off on a road she shouldn't have been on in
her car, busting through snowbanks. She was just following
four-wheeler tracks, she would say!
She was fascinated with robins, sandhill cranes, and butterflies. She
loved the wing nation.
Becky was an amazing quilter and made quilts for all her family and
friends, She loved spending time with her grandbabies, teaching them
to bake, swim, sew and throw balls.
Becky will be forever in our hearts, in every song we sing and every
dance we dance. She has left pieces of herself in everyone she held
dear.
Becky is survived by her husband of 43 years, Eddie S. Nolen, Her
loving daughters Heather (John) Mayoh, Jennie (Bill) Farrar. Eight
Grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Sister Vicky (Dave)
Shepard. Brothers Rick (Tausha) LaFay, Donald (Cindy) LaFay, Kelly
(Patty) Lunceford.
She has now found her wings and is flying high with the angels!
Graveside services for family and friends will be held, Wednesday,
