Becky Nicole Gilmartin

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Becky Nicole Gilmartin age 43, on June 16, 2024 at 4:04 PM in Provo, Utah. She was born on January 21, 1981 in El Paso, Texas to Lee Stephens Mahlstede Sr. and Donna Rae Bland Gilbert. She married John Devero Gilmartin III on February 8th 2014.

Becky was an amazing daughter, mother, wife, sister, aunt, great aunt and friend. She was vibrant, spunky, sassy, and a very caring person who loved her family very much. Becky was blessed by 2 beautiful sons Jaxon and Joseph and eternal daughter baby Grace. She was considered the “fun aunt” and found joy in taking care of her nieces and nephews. Becky graduated from Viewmont High School in 1999. She loved frogs, the color green, the ocean, the number 4, and Stargazer Lillys. Becky spent the last few months doing all she could to pray and heal with God. Becky passed due to complications with cancer.

Becky Nicole is survived by her loving husband of 10 years John Devero Gilmartin III; her sons Jaxon and Joseph Gilmartin; her father and his spouse Reta; her mother and her spouse Jim; aunts and uncles; 14 siblings and their spouses; 42 nieces and nephews; 12 great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by some of her aunts, uncles, grandparents and her favorite great grandparents Flossy and Amos Bland.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM with the service to follow at 11:00 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Heber City 8th Ward at 1205 West 650 South, Heber City, UT 84032. Following the services, the interment will be at Heber City Cemetery at 680 North 550 East, Heber City, UT 84032.
