GRAMMY aka The Mail Lady

Barbara Lee Loertscher Bonner was born May 7, 1937 to Roy and Dorothy Loertscher in Park City, Utah. The second of twelve children, she started taking care of her younger siblings at a young age and then went on to take care of her own little one.

Barbara married Bertell Murdock Bonner and had eight children. Chris (Ellen) Bonner, Rae (Scot) Davis, Nancy Bonner, Lee Bonner (Marc Barcomb), Jo (Brad) Probst, Jim Bonner, Gretchen (Troy) Wilde, Ann Bonner. Barbara has 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She loved all children and took every opportunity to try to teach them.

Grammy loved people and never passed up the chance to serve others. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and shared her strong beliefs of the gospel with all she came in contact with.

She worked endless hours delivering the mail and newspapers to the residents of Wasatch County, waving to every car she passed. She loved the Heber Valley and all its beauty, "That Mountain" she would say.

Mom, we hope that we can all see the world as you did.
