Archibald Jacob Quinn

d. September 1, 2018

Archibald Jacob Quinn passed from the trials of this life to the adventures of the next on Saturday, September 1, 2018. We were blessed to have him with us for over two unforgettable years and though he was young, he possessed a character that reflected a unique tenderness and sensitivity that will be sorely missed in the lives of his family. There was something so uniquely peculiar about his manner that it's hard to put into words.
If life is a symphony, Archie was for all who knew him a sweet and happy little movement that takes place right in the middle. It is so delightful and so pleasant that anyone who hears the music is inclined to pause and pay a little more attention. The tune develops, simple at first, but then grows in beauty and character, bringing pleasure to all who hear. Then suddenly, as is often the way of the Composer, the charming little melody is interrupted and the listener, who has been caught up in the joy of the refrain, is left to mourn that the symphony has moved on without it.
While we miss it, we trust in the Composer, knowing that at the close of His great work all things that appear to be lost will be restored and our charming little tune will be returned to the music, more joyful, more beautiful and more glorious than ever.
As with most two year olds, he had a deep and abiding appreciation for the simple pleasures. Dancing, singing, tagging along with his elder brothers, wrestling with his dad, a book with his mom and a good chocolate chip cookie were the recipe for a full and happy life. We should all be so wise. He had recently taken to wearing a fetching pair of glasses to straighten out a wonky eye both of which became a defining feature of his personality.
Archi is survived by his adoring parents, Thomas and Tanya Quinn, by his elder brothers Augustus and Julian Quinn and highly anticipated but yet-to-be-named sister, who is not due for another six weeks.
He is also survived by Grandparents, Melvin and Kathy Thompson of Bakersfield, Ca., Laurel Quinn of Heber City, Utah and countless uncles, aunts and cousins all over the country.
While our hearts are broken and we are unable to fully comprehend the loss of our dear, sweet Archie, we are comforted that he is in excellent company as Archie is preceded in death by his Grandfather, Martin G. Quinn with whom, if we know either of them very well, he is currently palling around with and who has already bestowed upon Archie a number of absurd nicknames.
A funeral services will be held on September 15, 2018 at 10:00 am at the LDS Chapel located at 715 E 6th S. Heber City, Utah 84032. A graveside services will be held immediately following the funeral. Friends and family may visit the online guestbook and share a memory of Archie at www.probstfamilyfunerals.com
