Antonio Ebitner Loño Jr.

April 12, 1942 — September 30, 2014

Antonio Ebitner Loño, Jr. passed away September 30, 2014 from complications associated with cancer. He was born April 12, 1942 to Antonio E. Loño and Lolita Aquino. They moved to the United States in 1951.

Antonio always has had a love of mechanics, engineering and leadership. Early on he was a member of the civil air patrol and senior class president. He attended Louisiana Polytechnic Institute while serving in the ROTC color guard. He graduated in 1966 with a degree in Electrical Engineering.

He worked for 50 years in the service of his country. He served for 21 years in the US Air Force. Then later he retired from the FBI. He always had a reputation for his integrity and ethics.

Tony was an avid sports lover and coached a championship youth baseball team. In his retirement he enjoyed working on his tractor and playing with his grandchildren.

Tony is survived by his wife, Marcia Newey Loño; mother, Lolita Loño; and sister, Cecilia Pratt; his son, Erik Loño, his wife, Elise, and their daughter Kate; his daughter Rami, her husband Nathan Nicholes, and their son Quincy; his daughter Jessica and her husband Bryngel Erickson, and their 3 children, Scarlett, Evelina, and Håkan.
