Anna Laree Pearson Hunt

March 28, 1922 — October 3, 2019

Anna LaRee Pearson Hunt - March 28, 1922 to October 3, 2019. Our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and dear friend, Anna LaRee Pearson Hunt was reunited with her eternal sweetheart, Forrest "Frosty" on October 3,2019. LaRee was bom March 28, 1922, in Elsinore, Utah, to John Riley Pearson, JR., and Ana lrene Svedin. LaRee was born with a rich pioneer heritage from her handcart ancestors with gifts of faith, endurance, hard work, artistic talents and testimony. Her greatest joys came from her work as a homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother.
She married Forrest Nathan Hunt in the Manti Temple. Together they worked and raised their family on a beautiful farm in Monroe, Utah, for a number of years. LaRee and Forrest eventually pulled up stakes and moved to Salt Lake City where LaRee worked as a dental assistant while continuing to raise the family together with Forrest. After retiring, LaRee and Forrest moved to Midway, where they both enjoyed the beauty and peace that can be found there. She had exquisite taste and loved to beautify her home. Her hands were always busy sewing (taught 4-H sewing for eight years), quilting, cooking, bottling vegetables and fruit from her garden and arranging flowers - she won numerous awards at county fairs on several occasions. She enjoyed camping and traveling with Forrest. She was a member and officer of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, The Swiss Hand Bell Ringers, the Grand Tappers and the Monroe Ladies Riding Group (riding Penny, her beloved horse). She loved her family with all her heart. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints throughout her life, serving as Young Women President, member of the Young Women's dance board for ten years, Relief Society President of the Midway Fourth Ward, ward music director, ward choir director and ordinance worker in the Provo Utah Temple. She served two missions with her husband; an agricultural mission, on the Navajo Reservation, and a proselyting mission in Capetown, South Africa. She loved sharing her testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. At the time of Forrest's passing they had been married 67 years. LaRee leaves behind three children, Forrest Mack Hunt of Antigo, Wisconsin; Thomas Nathan (Shawna) Hunt of Boise, ldaho and Carla Ann (Douglas) Ulmer of Midway, Utah; six grandchildren, Holly Jean (Brett) Boulette, Heidi (Steve) Baudoin, Rochelle Ki'ilani (Dave) Romer, Todd Nathan Hunt, Laura Ann (Bryan) Arnold and Natalie Elizabeth (Micah) Stevens. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren and a dear brother-in-law, Bud Dunn. LaRee was prooeeded in death by her husband Forrest, mother, father, and two sisters, Burnetta and Janice. LaRee was a loving, caring and involved wife and mother and grandmother. Family was always her number one priority. Mom taught us the value of hard work and finishing with flourish all things - rather it be a project, a goal or life itself. Mom loved spending time with family, writing, reading a good book and cooking for family and friends. Words cannot express the love and appreciation her family has for the life of this amazing woman. We were truly blessed to have her in our lives. Her example and influence will live on through her posterity.
Our family would like to express appreciation to First Choice Hospice Crew and Aids from The Osmond and Welcome Home Assisted Living Centers for their tender care of mother during her last few months here on earth.
