Anita U. Carter, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on June 8, 2025, at the age of 69. Born on April 4, 1956, in Provo, Utah, to Arthur M. Cox and Erma Cox of Orem, Utah, Anita's life was a beautiful testament to love, kindness, and the joy of connection. Anita was known for her kind soul and infectious smile, which brightened the lives of everyone she encountered. She had a remarkable ability to make friends wherever she went, leaving a lasting impression on all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her warmth and compassion were evident in every interaction, and she had a unique gift for making others feel valued and loved.

Family was the cornerstone of Anita's life. She is survived by her devoted son, Brian Williams (Jackie) of Green River, Wyoming, her beloved grandsons, Anthony (Megan) and Carter Williams, both of Green River, and her precious great-granddaughter, Maggie Williams. Anita also leaves behind her dear sister, Julie (Kevin) Lamb of Heber City, Utah, along with her cherished nieces and nephews, all of whom were touched by her love and warmth. Anita's love for family was boundless, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Christmas held a special place in her heart; it was her favorite holiday. She delighted in watching Christmas movies year-round, spreading joy and holiday spirit to those around her. The memories created during this magical season will forever be treasured by her family.

A celebration of Anita's life will be held on June 14th at the American Legion Hall in Fort Bridger, Wyoming, 100 Co Rd 224, Fort Bridger, Wyoming, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to gather to share stories, honor her memory, and celebrate the beautiful soul she was.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Anita's name, reflecting her generous spirit and love for helping others.
