Our sweet little Amity will forever be our little angel! Amity was born at 26 weeks, alongside her twin sister Aurora. She was born, weighing 1lb 12oz and was 12 inches long. From the beginning she was a fighter, and our little giver. Amity and Aurora had twin to twin transfusion syndrome (where 1 twin gets more nutrients than the other). Amity gave most of the nutrients to her sister, another trial she faced was that her umbilical cord was 95% detached. She defied all the odds placed against her and gave her all! After all the medical intervention she had to receive to assist her, her poor tiny body couldn’t handle any more. Towards the end we placed Amity next to her sister Aurora and she loved every second of it! She also let her parents know when she was ready to go home. Amity made sure to tell Luna and Aurora goodbye, as she passed, Aurora started dreaming, and Luna started to cry as she was asleep. We are blessed we had 6 beautiful days with our precious girl. Amity has given more to us in the 6 days with us, and as we grieve, we are learning more and more. We are devastated she is gone but so grateful we got to meet and spend time with our beautiful girl. Rest easy our sweet giver, we love you!
Amity is survived by her parents, Hunter and Tiara, Angel, Luna, and her twin sister Aurora, her grandparents Randy and Rebecca Chatwin and Sherrie Gast. She is preceded in death by her Grandpa and Grandma Chatwin, Grandpa Jeffs, Grandma Diane and Grandpa Bob, and Grandpa Brock.
