Alyn Kayle Cummings of Heber City, Utah, our loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend passed peacefully amongst family members July 27, 2015 from complications of an unforeseen illness.
Born February 27, 1935 in Daniel, Utah to Thomas Rex and Vera Davis Cummings. Member of the LDS faith. Married his high school sweetheart and best friend, Deanna Hector Cummings, on August 6, 1954.
Kayle was a heavy equipment operator for 35 years working various construction jobs. He also worked for Wasatch County for 12 years. Upon retirement, he spent most his time in his wood shop doing what he loved best. He also loved his garden and yard working in the dirt. He was very meticulous in everything he did. Our dad never hesitated or passed up an opportunity to help the many members of his family with any project. Known as a hard worker, he taught that work ethic to his children and grandchildren. Kayle loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed cutting and selling Christmas trees.
Proceeded in death by his parents, Thomas Rex and Vera Davis Cummings; brothers Ray and Rex D. Cummings. Survived by his wife Deanna Hector Cummings and children Alyn Kim (Julie), Jill Cummings Shipp (Russell), and Shane Dean (Susan); 10 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
