Allan Rex Brooks, age 78, passed away Tuesday, October 18th 2022, in Heber City, Utah. He was born April 11th 1944, in Santa Ana, California, to Rex Brooks and Edith Patterson. He married Janine Ankle on November 25th, 1998.
Allan was artistic, creative, smart, knowledgeable, funny, fun, kind, giving, and most of all, loving. Other than family and friends, Allan’s biggest love was for rocks. Looking for them, cutting them, and buying, selling, and treasuring the special ones. Allan always enjoyed books about American history, archeology, biographies, history, natural healing, and Zane Grey Novels. He shared all the he learned from them. Allan also liked antiques and watching old movies. He truly had a love of life. Allan was a remarkable man.
He is survived by his wife Janine, his son Jeff (Holly) Boulter, granddaughter Hope Boulter, grandson Hudson Boulter, step-daughter Nicole Hausner, grandson Kyle Hausner, grandson Nicolas Hausner, step-son Brian (Dana) Hart, grandson Bladen Hart, brother Steve (Lisa) Boulter, brother Richard (Marilyn) Boulter, brother Glen (Susan) Boulter, sister Nancy (Steve) Webster, brother Bruce (Liz) Boulter, as well as nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 22nd, 2022 at 11am, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Chapel located at 325 East 500 North Heber City UT 84032 .
