It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Lexie Graul, 34, on May 4, 2026, in Heber City, Utah. Lexie was born on March 13, 1992, to Devan Berrett and Christine Paramore (Sheranian). She was a beloved wife, daughter, sister, teacher, and friend whose warmth, humor, resilience, and compassion touched countless lives.
On September 7, 2013, Lexie married the love of her life, Rob Graul. Together they built a life filled with music, laughter, adventure, and unwavering devotion. Early in their marriage, Lexie and Rob enjoyed camping, snowshoeing, hiking, traveling, and spending a memorable summer working in Alaska, where they experienced the beauty of nature together. Through every joy and every challenge, they found strength in each other and in their shared sense of humor.
Music was one of Lexie’s greatest talents and lifelong passions. A gifted pianist from a very young age, she loved learning new music, composing original pieces, and creating beautiful arrangements. She had an extraordinary musical memory and could identify nearly any band, singer, or classical composer after hearing only a few seconds of music. She could often recall movies simply from hearing their musical scores. Lexie delighted in hearing a song she loved and then sitting down at the piano to play it by ear almost immediately. In addition to piano, she played violin and guitar and possessed a beautiful singing voice. She frequently shared her piano and singing talents in church through musical performances and accompanying others.
Lexie also found tremendous joy in teaching piano and inspiring her students through her passion for music. Her enthusiasm and encouragement left a lasting impression on everyone she taught.
Lexie graduated from Alta High School in 2010, where she excelled academically, participated in orchestra, and competed in swimming and water polo. She later graduated from Brigham Young University in 2016 with a degree in public health. She had a passion for clinical medicine and dedicated herself to helping others through various positions in healthcare, most recently serving as a medical assistant and clinic manager in Heber, Utah. Lexie consistently went above and beyond for her patients, offering empathy and understanding drawn from her own experiences navigating significant health challenges.
Despite the difficulties she faced, Lexie approached life with remarkable optimism, determination, and an exceptional work ethic. She greeted each day with positivity, often fueled by whatever music matched her mood that morning. She loved learning and was often found engaging family and friends in lively discussions about history, current events, movies, and music. Her quick wit, infectious humor, and perfectly timed movie and television quotes brought joy and laughter to every gathering.
Lexie was also a devoted dog mom to Indy and Ru, whom she adored deeply. She often joked that Rob was their “play human” while she was their “cuddle human.”
Lexie is survived by her loving husband, Rob Graul; her father, Devan Berrett; her mother, Christine Sheranian (Steve); her sisters, Kiki Enslow (Mike) and Allie Plant; her in-laws, Greg and Janet Graul; and siblings-in-law Mike Graul (Amielee), Julia Moffitt (Colton), and Joe Graul (Sierra). She also deeply loved and was loved by many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her loving big brother, Erik Plant.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 14, 2026, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 1365 East Center Street, Heber City, Utah. A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Midway Cemetery.
The music of Lexie’s life—her kindness, laughter, and enduring strength—will play on forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
